Dr. Dennis Jackson has spent more than 20 years helping organizations understand what's really going on beneath the surface — and what it takes to fix it.

His work sits at the intersection of compliance, organizational climate, and inclusion and belonging. He has conducted investigations, led trainings, facilitated difficult conversations, and helped institutions build cultures where people can actually thrive — not just survive.

The Experience Behind the Work

Dr. Jackson's career began in higher education, where he spent two decades working with colleges and universities across the country. Areas of focus have included Residence Life, Student Conduct, Student Activities, Compliance, Recruitment, Retention, and Cultural Engagement. From small private institutions to large research universities, he has seen how challenges show up differently depending on the environment — and how culture problems can derail even the most well-intentioned organizations.

Along the way, he built a reputation for something most consultants avoid: going where the problem actually lives. Whether it is a complex Title VII investigation, a fractured team dynamic, or cultural gaps that leadership did not know existed, Dr. Jackson has the experience and the temperament to handle it.

His ATIXA training, five years of on-the-job Title IX and compliance work, and 20 years of broader educational experience give him a foundation few practitioners can match. Dr. Jackson’s doctorate is in Career and Technical Education, master's degree in College Student Development, and a bachelor's degree in Business Management, which round out a perspective that is both scholarly and deeply practical.

A Global Perspective on People and Organizations

Dr. Jackson has traveled to 56 countries and worked with international programs, including Semester at Sea. He also did an international professional exchange program in Finland. These experiences have shaped how he approaches every engagement — with genuine curiosity about people, awareness of diverse cultural dynamics, and a commitment to meeting each client where they are.

He does not bring a one-size-fits-all framework. He brings 20 years of pattern recognition and a sharp eye for what makes each organization's situation unique.

Hard Conversations. Real Results.

Dr. Jackson will tell you directly: most organizations already know something is wrong. What they need is someone willing to say it out loud, sort through the complexity, and help them move forward.

He is known for making uncomfortable situations less emotional and more productive. He gets to the heart of issues quickly, helps people feel heard, and guides organizations toward outcomes that actually hold.

That is what Zenith Climate Collective is built on — the belief that every organization has its own zenith, and that reaching it starts with honest, courageous work.
